Cristina Martín Hernández is a predoctoral researcher at the University of Salamanca. She holds a BA in English Studies (2020) and a MA in Advanced English Studies (2021) from the University of Salamanca. Drawing from literary and gender studies, her thesis examines the (re)construction of the past through border and autobiographical writing, mainly in the works of Norma E. Cantú. Her research revolves around other themes such as photography, film, and graphic novels, as well as ideas of home, belonging, hospitality and immigration.
