Irati Aguirrezabalaga Berra (they/them) is a PhD student at the University of Salamanca. After a BA in English Studies and a MA in Drama and Performance Studies, they are focusing their thesis on contemporary musical theatre and whether they create hospitable spaces for marginalized communities through the representation of gender, sexuality and race on stage.
